EDZ Strong Carriage

EDZ Strong Carriage
The EDZ Strong Carriage linear drive is a belt driven guide unit for vertical movement for heavy duty applications. The central block is fixed allowing the extrusion to move upwards and downwards. At each end of the extrusion are mounting blocks with threaded mounting holes and a precision location spigot. Rubber buffers are attached to the top face of the extrusion to minimise noise although motor control should be programmed to avoid carriage contact with the end caps. The EDZ Strong Carriage is fitted with two bearing rails which are mounted externally, on either side of the extrusion. Interface plates are available for all types of electrical motor/gearbox combinations and supplied as a kit to include motor shaft extension and drive coupling.
